After graduating from law school, Ron was immediately hired by the State of Colorado in the Public Defender's Office. This office provides legal representation to indigent people accused of a crime. During his six years as a Public Defender, Ron acquired a great deal of courtroom and trial experience. He has tried in excess of 100 cases, ranging from charges of minor misdemeanors to first degree murder. Since 1989, Ron Schreiber has been in private practice in Colorado Springs, concentrating in the area of personal injury claims. Before creating his own firm, Ron was a partner in the firm of Pelton, Pelton, and Schreiber, a personal injury law firm founded by Wilmer Pelton. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Pelton was a claims adjuster for a major insurance company. So, Ron honed his courtroom skills in the Public Defender’s Office and learned his claims handling skills from a former claims adjuster. Today, Ron handles personal injury claims through his private practice in Colorado Springs, including auto and motorcycle accidents and slip and fall accidents. Ron Schreiber, a Colorado Springs personal injury lawyer, has been practicing law since 1982. A native of South Dakota, Ron obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology. He attended the University of Denver Law School and earned his Juris Doctorate in June, 1982.
Stephanie has been providing legal assistance to attorney Ron Schreiber since 1990. She attended Metropolitan State College in Denver and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies. Steph became a Certified Paralegal in 2011. She has been married for over 20 years and has a stepson and two grandchildren.
Lucie was born in Czechoslavakia, in an area which is now known as the Czech Republic. She emigrated to the United States and Colorado with her family at age four and has lived in Colorado ever since, though she did return to the Czech Republic for 4th and 7th grades. Lucie is the mother of an elementary school age daughter and joined the firm in 2010.
Liz, another South Dakota native, has been married to Ron for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Dakota in Business Management. After staying home with the kids for 11 years, she began her own Medical Sales Recruiting firm and worked in that area for six years.
